These terms describe purchases and use of the Caelum Books store at caelumbooks.com. Read them with the linked delivery, returns and privacy pages before placing an order. Caelum Books sells physical books, book collections and related accessories; each listing describes the items included in that purchase.
Choosing the right edition
Review the title, edition or publication year, binding, ISBN where supplied, and any stated collection contents. An index-tab listing or another accessory includes only what its own description identifies. Contact us before ordering when a photograph or description needs clarification. We will not replace an ordered edition, format or collection with a materially different one without your agreement.
Professional references and textbooks are educational resources. A purchase does not provide professional advice or establish that a particular code edition is adopted where you work. Check the edition required by your course, employer or relevant authority.
Prices, availability and order information
Prices are shown in US dollars. The payment methods available to you, delivery charges and applicable taxes are presented at checkout before you submit the purchase. Use a payment method you are authorized to use and provide an accurate contact and delivery address. Any discount applies according to the offer shown when you order.
We use the details provided to arrange fulfillment and contact you about the purchase. If an item is unavailable or a material listing or pricing error affects your order, we will explain the problem and the available options. We will not collect a higher amount or send substitute goods without your agreement. If we cannot fulfill the affected purchase, we will cancel it and return the appropriate amount paid.
Delivery, cancellations and returns
Our Shipping & Delivery policy sets out the current US service area, processing period, delivery choices and help with shipment problems. Our Returns, Refunds & Cancellations policy explains the 7-day return-request window, conditions for change-of-mind returns, 20% handling deduction, fault remedies and the special treatment of shipped orders over $1,000.
Those published policies form part of the purchase terms. If a promised shipment cannot be made on time, we will explain the delay and the available cancellation/refund choice. Restrictions on discretionary returns do not remove protections the law gives you for an unfulfilled purchase, a fault or our error.
Accounts, inquiries and reviews
Keep your account credentials private and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. An order or account must be managed by someone able to give the necessary legal consent. Parents and guardians can buy books for children without submitting the child’s personal information.
Reviews should describe a real experience with the product and must not contain another person’s private details, threats, unlawful content or misleading claims. We may moderate submitted reviews and address fraud, abuse or attempts to disrupt the store. Our Privacy Policy explains how account, inquiry and review information is handled.
Book content, images and publisher marks
The rights in books, cover artwork, author names and publisher marks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance identifies the goods offered and does not establish publisher sponsorship or an affiliation with Caelum Books. Buying a physical copy does not give a separate license to reproduce the book, distribute scans or use a publisher’s trademarks.
Changes and help with a purchase
We may revise website information and these terms by publishing an updated version. A later revision does not take away rights already agreed for an existing purchase. Rights and remedies that cannot legally be waived remain available. Contact us with the order number and a description of the issue so we can review it.
